''Stunning performance by the superb Kathleen Yore. Well deserved standing ovation”

“Kathleen Yore is a powerful presence on stage”
Rod Dixon (Red Ladder, Artistic Director)
“I have worked with Kathleen on two Red Ladder projects that could not have been more different: Wrong Un - a one woman acapella musical by Boff Whalley and Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children. Kathleen takes her work very seriously and her preparation for the one woman show made rehearsals very easy. She is a delight to direct - she approaches a role with depth and intelligence and is open to different choices. Her singing voice is perfect and we offered her the role of Yvette in Mother Courage without an audition. I also wanted her to play a mask role – The General - and I was excited to see how she would play this as I had seen her mask performances with her own company, Odd Doll. She is a brilliant mask performer and embodies a mask with skill and instinct. Kathleen brought an immense amount to the production - she also played piano accordion in the show. Her multi role talents make her a vital part of the Red Ladder ensemble and I will look forward to working with her again as soon as a suitable role comes along - again this will be an unconditional offer, no need for audition. She is a generous member of the team always full of positive energy and always well prepared.”
Clare Clarkson, Producer (Cast in Doncaster)
“Cast has been working with Kathleen from the time our theatre launched. She is a warm, funny and approachable performer and a professional and creative practitioner. We would wholeheartedly endorse Kathleen, she is a joy to work with and that is why we’ve been working with her for seven years”.
Helen Jones, Artistic Co-ordinator (Theodora Children's Charity)
‘’Kathleen has been working in a medical setting with children, families and staff for almost 10 years with our charity as a Giggle Dr. The role requires a high level of professionalism and sensitivity not only with the children and their families but also with the environment and the needs of the medical team. She is a beautiful and highly skilled performer who invests in regular personal and professional development. Kathleen can be brilliantly funny, whilst also maintaining gentleness and a calming presence in the space. Kathleen adapts to every situation and is genuine and original in her choices of play. I have great joy in recommending her for any appropriate work within our community arts.’’
